Lakeside House, Inc. supports people with mental illness and other life challenges by providing individualized programs and activities, which help them improve their quality of life and achieve their highest level of independence.
ABOUT
Lakeside House, Inc. established in 1978, is a 24-hour supervised community residence serving the needs of ten adults with severe and persistent mental illness.
Situated in a residential home nestled in the Adirondack Mountains on the shore of beautiful Lake Flower in Saranac Lake, NY, the house provides a pleasant and comfortable North Country charm and healing environment.
Lakeside House, Inc. emphasizes individualized services and a therapeutic living environment directed towards restoring and developing residents self-esteem, self confidence and autonomy.
Staff members are available at all times to provide support and counseling for the residents psychiatric supervision. Counseling services are also provided by the local community mental health clinic and private providers from the area.
